Jeremy is a singer-songwriter, composer and performer who hails from a small town in Zimbabwe and is now based in Hilversum, The Netherlands. A graduate of UCT’s College of Music with a degree in Jazz Performance, Jeremy is an accomplished guitarist and vocalist, having performed with the likes of George Benson, Katherine Jenkins, Jonathan Butler and Daniel Bedingfield, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Will Calhoun and Hugh Masekela and recorded with David Sanscious and Tom ‘Bones’ Malone. He has also shared the stage with some of South Africa’s finest musicians and artists, including Danny K, Loyiso Bala, Sibongile Khumalo, GoodLuck, Judith Sephuma, Ard Matthews, Arno Carstens, Freshly Ground, Mango Groove, Jimmy Nevis and Johnny Clegg. He has performed all over South Africa, as well as in Germany, Switzerland, Holland and Dubai at various shows, festivals and concerts.
Jeremy has released many singles to South African radio and a few are also playing in the USA via Moodmedia/DMX. In June 2015, he was nominated for a Wawela Award for Best Male Artist and Composer for his debut album alongside Elvis Blue and Mandoza.
In 2016 Jeremy was in the first season of The Voice SA and reached the final four!
He went on to record his next album ‘Changing World’ in 2018 which was recorded in New York with the legendary Will Calhoun (Living Color), Shaun Johannes and David Sanscious (Sting/ E Street Band) . The album also features a couple of collaborations with Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
